Nominations Explained

Nominations for the 2009 Godiva Awards are now closed.

Please note that nominations are not automatically listed on the website.  Therefore if a venue is nominated on a Friday evening it will not appear on the website until the following Monday morning.

Nominations can be made by any member of the public for an establishment that fits into one of the eleven categories; however a venue cannot win in the same category in consecutive years.

Once a nomination has been submitted the details are forwarded to the appropriate department and are checked for validity prior to being listed on the website under the appropriate category. 

Contact is made with the venue regarding delivery or collection of a voting pack and possible amendments to the details and/or provision of an image to support the entry.

The Godiva Awards Committee reserves the right to refrain from adding a venue or remove a venue from the website if it is deemed to be placed in an unsuitable category.
