Anne Hathaway's is the quintessentially English thatched cottage that is a must see for anyone with visiting friends and family and attracts visitors from all over the world.
It is the most romantic of all the Shakespeare Houses as it was the childhood home of Shakespeare's wife Anne Hathaway, brought to life by exceptional guides.
Today visitors can stroll through the award-winning gardens and orchards, wander through the enchanting woodland walk and visit the Shakespeare Sculpture and Tree Garden. In Spring and Summer in particular the willow cabin comes "alive" and visitors can listen to a sonnet reading - or perhaps woo a loved one!
After their visit there are plants and other gifts for sale and of course cream teas to be had in the tea garden nearby.
