The home of the world's most famous playwright is on your doorstep.
Become part of the Shakespeare story and visit an attraction that has been welcoming people for over 250 years. Visitors can see where Charles Dickens and Thomas Hardy left their mark.

Visit the brand new introduction to William Shakespeare Life, Love & Legacy. This enthralling experience interweaves theatre with Shakespearian magic as many treasures associated with the world's most famous playwright are literally brought to life.

You can see your favourite characters come alive with live performances in the garden, before exploring the fascinating Tudor house itself where Shakespeare was born and brought up.

And until 6th September, visitors will be able to see a ground-breaking exhibition centred on a portrait of Shakespeare believed to be the first and the only one painted in his lifetime.
