After much anticipation, a 10 week refurbishment and over £1 million spent The Colosseum became The Kasbah. Made over in a traditional Moroccan theme, bringing together the key elements of individuality and style, with a new and stylish exterior under which the heart of The Colosseum still beats on. Think lanterns...think ornately framed mirrors...think luxurious velvet drapes....think Kasbah.
After well over a decade of providing the most frontline entertainment of Coventry, this venue is now bigger, better, faster and stronger than could ever have been possible. The ethos is the same, as is the dedication to providing the most fun club nights in the city and the commitment to staging live music from the local scene and all around the world.
You will be impressed with the new look and style of the venue, which works well with the name. From the front doors, throughout the whole building it's all more spacious and eye-catching, the toilets are a pleasure to use and just wait til you see the 'Beer Garden'. This is one of the most 'atmospheric' outdoor places anywhere, with other-worldly furnishings, flame features, Moroccan palm trees and plants - drinking under the moonlit, starry sky will never be the same again.
