Formerly at Longbarn village near Alcester where it created quite a stir with its oh so Italien fusion cuisine, Matricardi's has more than lived up to its move to Henley-in-Arden. The Grade II listed building dates from the 17th Century with large attractive gardens sloping down to the Alne. The result is that you simply cannot fault the canvass on which the Matricardi familly works its magic. Brothers Stafano and Alessandro Matricardi take care of this canvas to perfection - but it is father Dominico who manages the kitchen and the magical crucible of fusion cooking at its best that earns the Matricardo its rightful abundance of stars.
