Home-cooked lunches and dinners, a great choice of real ale (including Ansells Mild , M&B Brew XI and the legendary Hook Norton Bitter), a nice crowd and the family management's decision to not include jukeboxes or fruit machines in the mix, results in one of the most peaceful and friendly pub-restaurants in Warwickshire. The lovely Summer Garden is a must in summer and in winter the interior mix of wood (light and natural rather than clobbered with dark oak stain), tiffany lights and cosy spaces makes it a wonderful retreat. The food really is a treat and you should expect to book.
